Purdue Energy Forum's December Forum was on natural gas as an up and coming energy source in the United States and the world. The fuel has already gained a lot of attention around the world as prices decline from fracking extraction techniques and transportation methods in liquid form (LNG). The speaker is from right here at Purdue University:

Robert N. Davis

Mr. Davis is the current  Director of Technology Commercialization at Air Products and Chemicals as well as a liaison between Purdue engineering faculty and industry.

The Purdue Engineering Consulting LLC operates out of the Purdue research park is where Mr. Davis is general manager. He has promoted the facility as a connection for faculty with real world industrial problems and an inspiration for new and more research interests. Robert Davis uses his business experiences to help form strategic alliances with other companies to improve technology from Purdue.
